Following an opening win by local Chicago favourite, Convexity skippered by Don Wilson, Sally Barkow and The Magenta Project...

China claimed five of the six medals on offer at the conclusion of racing at the RS:X Windsurfing World Championships in Japan.

China claimed five of the six medals on offer at the conclusion of racing at the RS:X Windsurfing World Championships in Japan. Both individual categories were in different scenarios going into the final day of competition on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic course in Enoshima. Peina Chen had an almost unassailable lead in the women's while  the battle for gold in the men's was between China's Bing Ye and Mateo Sanz Lanz of Switzerland, who were tied on 33 points. Today's medal races offered double points, with the top 10 in the men's and women's fleets taking to the water. Chen, the 2015 world windsurfing champion and 2016 Olympic silver medallist,  was languishing at the back of the fleet in the early stages and struggled for speed. She failed to move up the standings and finished in ninth place but that was still good enough to seal the gold medal. Her compatriot, Manjia...

Dubai is Building a Complete Floating Replica of Venice

Dubai is a place where the impossible always seems to be made possible. With man-made islands and rainforests , indoor ski hills, and underwater hotel rooms , it seems as though there's nothing they can't do, and now they're proving that point with the greatest challenge yet — a floating replica of the entire city of Venice. The 680 million-dollar project is scheduled for completion in 2020, and is being planned in the form of a luxury resort; one where Venice's gondolas, canals, and possibly even festivals will all be available. Located in The World development — an artificial group of islands constructed less than three miles from shore — the resort will have 180 undersea bedroom cabins, three subaquatic restaurants, an underwater lobby, and three other, additional decks. Underwater tourism has been on the rise around the world, and Dubai is certainly no newcomer. With the Floating Seahorse project already open for...
