No seriously some might look at these stories as rants; but we all know in fact they are not. Because sometimes screaming F#$%k from the top of your lungs can be therapeutic.

How Your Masturbation Habits Are Ruining Your Sex Life

Attention all dudes: Your masturbation habits could be wreaking havoc on your sex life. Doctors say male fetuses get erections in the womb and even touch themselves from time to time. So you got an early start and now you can’t stop. Well, we’re not saying you have to—but you may want to reconsider exactly how you’re getting yourself off. Some masturbation routines that boys bring into their teens and 20s can ultimately lead to unrealistic expectations during partnered sex and, therefore, decreased satisfaction for both people involved. If you recognize any of these bad behaviors, we suggest you correct them stat. 1. You don’t switch it up. If you do some weird hand thing when you’re jacking off, you’re going to want her to replicate it exactly and you’ll likely be frustrated when she struggles to do just that. You’ve also become so meticulous that sex in real life becomes a timed science. She doesn’t necessarily want...

I wanted to share something I am dealing with on a daily basis as a #consultant

I wanted to share something I am dealing with on a daily basis as a #consultant
As I am finishing an #Environmental #report for an undisclosed #beach Location in the #Egyptian #RedSea . I wanted to share something I am dealing with on a daily basis as a #consultant; which is #infuriating and #depressing me beyond comprehension. Everything what is wrong with #oceanresources #management by the proud Egyptian #tourism #developers of The Red Sea summed up in 1 picture. I just cannot grasp that my fellow tourism #entrepreneurs here have not yet understood the value of The Red Sea and the need to do the right thing. #Stupidity is wanting to do stuff without proper knowledge, not take in a foreign knowledgeable consultant because of pride, and cutting costs. With the obvious long term result of footing a larger bill to clean up the mess, and a drop in visitors; last but not least an #environmentalimpact , which will take years to solve. Besides what is...

‘Fishpeople’ tells stories of lives affected by the sea

‘Fishpeople’ tells stories of lives affected by the sea
A new documentary by Santa Barbara filmmaker Keith Malloy, tells the stories of six people who have dedicated their lives to the ocean in different ways. Among them are a spear fisherman in Hawaii, a former coal miner in Australia and a youth worker in San Francisco. Presented by Ventura-based outdoor retailer Patagonia, “Fishpeople,” screens at Patagonia headquarters on Thursday, April 20th and in Santa Barbara at the Sandbox on Friday, April 21st . KCRW’s Jonathan Bastian spoke with Malloy about why he chose to make this film. Clockwise from top left: Dave Rastovich (surfer), Kimi Werner (spearfisher), Matahi Drollet (surfer/fisherman), Lynne Cox (open-water swimmer), Eddie Donnellan (youth worker), Ray Collins (photographer). KCRW: You and your brothers are surfers as well as filmmakers. You could have made a surf film. Why go this route? Keith Malloy: The ocean has affected me in such a positive way, and part of it’s surfing...

Here's the Deal on Living Sustainably (Without Being Totally Granola)

Here's the Deal on Living Sustainably (Without Being Totally Granola) Buy Less but Better Knoll Womb Chair and Ottoman ($4830) Hill swears by the "buy less but better" approach when it comes to decorating. "I avoid a nything that is trendy and therefore won't last long from an aesthetic perspective," he says. "I also stay away from furniture made out of nasty materials or pieces that won't last long or in style or in durability." Buy Local Only Croft House Empress Side Table ($650)When it comes to buying furniture, Krasnow also recommends focusing on local makers. "There is always a carbon footprint on shipping furniture and appliances," she explains. "Understanding where items come from and buying local is a huge factor in helping the environment. Buying vintage furniture is even better as these items are being saved from going into landfills."  Don't Overheat or Overcool Ecobee Lite Thermostat ($165) We have...

INTEGRITY

INTEGRITY
So I came across this post by Baaghil, who I have had the pleasure to meet several times... And I just felt strengthened by it, integrity and principals are values that are too often set aside in the pursuit of $. As a marine consultant, I see concepts that are 70 years old...total destruction of the underwater habitats we work in, and last but not least a catastrophic nose dive in workforce professionalism. I have received similar messages from people who I infuriate with my 'inflammatory' posts... But as mentioned previously and in the Baaghil spirit, if I have to get customers/projects over my principles... I don't want them!
